Artwork Description

Evidence of station history is common across outback properties. Old fence lines and stockyards, ruined buildings and abandoned vehicles are reminders of early efforts to develop the land. Often new yards are built beside the old; the original bore still providing good water. Using only hand tools and brawn, these old yards are testament to skill and hard yakka.
