Sun, Moon, Water and Fire are the main elements in the ancient Chinese world. Some of these symbols were found in certain Chinese ancient languages called Jia Gu Wen. Fangmin wishes to provide a contemporary perspective on these special languages, to explore the relationship between ancient and modern, Western and Eastern, people and nature. He wants these simple graphic forms to not only be pertinent to nature and beauty, but also to convey a sense of the interrelationship between culture, nature, symbols and time...
