All The World's A Stage #7

All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And in their time plays many parts,
Their acts being seven ages.
As You Like It Act 2, scene 7, 139–143 William Shakespeare

Each painting in the Series has a significant point of difference. Painting monochrome and silhouette figures make me feel I am painting a story, as much as a picture - an authentic blend of my two loves, the visual and ideas/words. As I paint the gold leaf, refection Series, the ideas and stories are developing, becoming reflections of society, themselves.
The colour gold is the colour of success, achievement and triumph. Associated with First World abundance and prosperity, luxury and quality, prestige and sophistication, value and elegance, the psychology of this colour implies affluence, material wealth and extravagance. Optimistic and positive, gold adds richness and warmth to everything with which it is ass

Keywords: Conceptual painting, Australian culture, indigenous woman, abstract first people painting, city scape, gold leaf, abstract city lights, people, city scape, gold leaf buildings, city skycrapers, figures after work, gold leaf city scape, office, waitin
