Delicate Equilibrium by Lucinda Leveille is a floral inspired watercolour piece on Saunders paper.
I always seem to be drawn back to flowers in the landscape when I pick up my watercolours, I love to experiment with the colours and layer them one on top of the other. This one has another of my favourite flowers - baby’s breath - those fantastic little flowers are so delightful to paint. I am really enjoying working with this garden series of paintings - the colours and vibrancy of gardens are a lovely feeling when we are in winter and at the moment lockdown! Turquoise is a wonderful summer colour to enjoy all year round.
