Original acrylic surreal abstract Australian landscape painting by Melbourne Artist Veronica Lamb
76cm x 38cm (30 inches x 15 inches) canvas, ready to hang
3.5cm (1.5 inches) wide sides painted white, the textured edge of the painting dribbles over onto the sides in some sections
This painting is inspired by photos I took of South Australia white travelling from Melbourne to Darwin in a camper van. I visited iconic Australian sites such as Uluru, The Olgas, Kakadu and Alice Springs over 3 weeks. This was the first time I had visited the Australian desert and I found it so inspiring. People often ask me if it is boring, it is not. There is so much life; birds, reptiles, kangaroos, camels and different species of plants than what you would see anywhere else. The colours are amazing and the landscape continues forever. It is truly paradise.
Signed on the front lower right hand corner.
Hanging wire at back included, see photo
