My latest art piece from my fish series is a play on the fighter fish vibrancy and a stalemate position in decision making. I often spend too much time thinking about all the colour options in my art, which in turn holds me in a position without progression. However, I decided on this piece to go with all colour options I was contemplating. I used a dozen resin, acrylic and gouache mixes to create a vivid explosion of life, movement and colour in this fun fish piece.
My unique process of applying charcoal to canvas to create photorealistic art is done through the use of various paint and makeup brushes cut to shape. I used a specific ready to hang canvas with environmentally sustainable pine backing behind high quality cotton duck canvas and also a thick 4cm cross pine frame. This heavier canvas allows me to create more realistic and detailed charcoal art pieces. Over 200 of my artworks have been safely shipped worldwide; with insurance and tracker included.
