MOONSTONE by Brigitte Ackland, another "moonscape" inspired by the magic and mystery of the moon. The alchemy of mixed media paint, layered and reacting to each other has resulted in beautiful organic patterning throughout, the overlapping abstract shapes creating much depth. The monochromatic theme with highlights of gold and warmer tones would compliment both a traditional and modern interior.
Mixed media on a 70cm solid round, finished with 2 coats of protective varnish and is ready-to-hang.
