Artist's Description

This painting is the first in a series of landscape/seascape ventures in a new style for me. Each day I walk on the waterfront watching the boats at anchor and smelling the early morning air - it is my favourite time of day, when all is so quiet and the dramas of the day haven't even yet begun! I take inspiration from this quiet time and hopefully you can see this moment of suspended time in my paintings.
