My latest dancer art piece is inspired by renaissance art and love soul mates. I absolutely love renaissance art and the sense of life and death I can feel through every piece. I have also been thinking about the diversity of ‘love’ and what it is to love someone, anyone. I think about the people I’ve loved and lost and how it would feel to see them again for one day. Everybody deserves love.
I’ve created my own charcoal application technique, which enables me to present a smooth finish on canvas. I use charcoal in all my art to express the contrasts of life and death through realistic views. I use colour to express emotion and movement. This piece has sections of my made-up resin-like effects throughout too.
My Expressive realism street art style paintings have been sold to collectors throughout the world. This may be the piece which speaks to you, if not, feel free to contact me to commission a piece.
