Artist's Description
My absolute favourite flower to paint is Queen Anne's Lace, it usually comes in a small white flower in groups or little bunches. It is fun to paint as it peeps out of the overgrown gardens to say hello.
This is the paper that is so heavy it can stand up on its own - very exciting and exacting to work with - you have to accommodate the paper ! As it is handmade it is quite random in size and not one side is straight, but has interesting texture and edges - when framing I would consider leaving the edges exposed to show off their great uniqueness !
As with all of my works, this is an original and a one of a kind, I do not make prints from any of my works.
The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. I only use Artist quality materials in the creation of my artwork – archival, quality paper for my watercolours, well prepared supports for my oil paintings and both are painted using artist quality pigments.
