Artist's Description
Spring Light is a watercolour piece influenced by a wonderful Japanese artist I very much admire - Yuko Nagayama. I have freely applied watercolour with large brushes and buckets of water to achieve the wonderful free effects which can be achieved with this great medium when you allow it to have its own way. In addition, I have used a light and bright colour scheme to represent the joy of the blooming of spring and how exciting to be able to display some colourful blossoms on your windowsill. This is part of a series in this style of works.
The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. I only use Artist quality materials in the creation of my artwork – archival, quality paper for my watercolours, pastels and drawings.
The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, sometimes recycled ( I do like to recycle when I can!), any glass will be taped to help prevent breakage
