This latest dance focused piece is inspired by love, the ocean and the sky. I've had this idea of creating a couple dancing for a while, though knew it would be a great challenge. The balance of poses and blending with paint made for some careful thought and perspective. Once I created a story with my charcoal lovers, I let loose as usual and let the emotions take over as I splashed colour around the room- some hitting the canvas. This dress has a new resin mix I've been changing and perfecting to suit my artistic desires. I am continually inspired by geology, the sky and the ocean and seek to express this in my abstract colour mixes.
