Since I have been experimenting, having more time on my hands, there are so many different mediums you can add to traditional watercolours that it is mind boggling, so I'm trying some new things and enjoying the results. This piece has gesso, texture paste and a little ink mixed in with the watercolour to represent the glow from my favourite flower Queen Anne's Lace, which I have just found out is also called wild carrot! Who would think? The pinks and deep reds which merge into purples are quite stunning when seen up close with the texture creating puddles of rich pigments.
As with all of my works, this is an original and a one of a kind, I do not make prints from any of my works.
The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. I only use Artist quality materials in the creation of my artwork – archival, quality paper for my watercolours, well prepared supports for my oil painting
