Artist's Description
"The twilight is sad and cloudy,
The wind blows wild and free,
And like the wings of sea-birds
Flash the white caps of the sea'.
The Wind Blows Wild And Free by Lucinda Leveille is part of the series exploring the solitary using the imagery of the vastness of the ocean and flying seabirds to depict that 'aloneness'. The name of this piece comes from a poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
