Inspired by a photo taken by a friend on a visit to Papua New Guinea. The patterns and reflections on the water were hypnotic and the landscape itself appeared painting-like. Also an experiment in changing the traditional format of landscape from a horizontal rectangle into a square, and how that helps to create visual balance. Keywords:
Painted with genuine earth pigments including azurite, sodalite and black tourmaline, adding to the earthiness of the landscape.
