Dragons have captured her imagination for as long as she can remember, since she read of them in her favourite childhood book: Lord of the Rings and here she has captured no less than 4 in her painting, maybe more are lurking in the shadows! This painting was created using liquid acrylic, with intricate patterning throughout that can only be appreciated in real life. The monochrome colour palette helps create a sense of drama and emphasises the tapestry of design that is woven on the surface as the paint swirled while wet. Please note that this painting has been done on canvas that has been stretched across 1.2cm hardboard and needs to be framed. Or the artist can screw wood to the back from which it can be hung, which will create a shadow line effect around the painting and on the wall.
