Jenine Bell

Jenine's journey into the world of art started in her childhood with simple pencil drawings. No doubt her mother's love of art rubbed off on her as she was an artist. Jenine started off in Oils, learning from her mother who taught her the basics. In 1995 she decided to try her hand at pastels and after a few months was selling and doing works on commission.

In 2007 Jenine took up Oils again, she had to re learn her brush skills and is really enjoying the medium. She took some lessons with Alison Clark an award winning artist in wildlife. Jenine is really enjoying the medium and found that she prefers it to others that she has tried. Jenine attended weekly drawing classes under Danielle Robertson at the Glen Eira Cheltenham Art Group. Recently she has been experimenting in Watercolour and mixed mediums and has produced a variety of pieces.

Jenine loves telling a story through art and have done a variety of work from portraits, trains, landscape, seascapes and many animals and birds. Jenine received a highly commended from the Mentone & Mordialloc Art Society and a commended from the Wildlife Art Society of Australasia Inc.

She has sold works at the Rotary Camberwell Art Show, Mornington Art Show, Whitehorse Art Show, Mordialloc Rotary Art Show, online through Gallery 247 & Wildlife Art Society Australiasia Inc. and through commissions.

Jenine is a member of the Wildlife Art Society of Australasia and act as Treasurer on behalf of the society. She is also a member of The Australian Guild of Realist Artists. Jenine is available to take commissions.
