Magdalena has always been passionate about painting. It was a way to escape from the everyday routine and express herself. She was born in Poland. Magdalena is self-taught and feels this shows in her spontaneity, where she just sees what happens when she mixes different colours together. When she feels upset her palette of colours are darker and when she is happy the colours of her painting are lighter to reflect her mood. The best way for her is to experiment and see what this brings. She tends to use acrylic and aerosol paints to create her colours. She carefully looks at her surroundings, which is reflected in her work. Furthermore, she also likes using abstract designs that can lead to surprising results. Sometimes she is amazed by what she can achieve by keeping things simple using very few colours to produce unusual and beautiful images. She loves spending time with her family and her twin sister whenever she visits her in Europe.
